Music Hello, welcome on the blog of Vivre Cru, pleased to meet you again. With the thematic videos, you have seen the topic of the day, the stress minus the handbrake. I wanted to talk to you a little bit about the importance that there is to be interested in this notion of stress, stress in our lives, which is something relatively modern, and to point out how crucial it is in terms of health, of being fulfilled, since it's always the same,
and we stay in our series on healing in a thematic video as you can see i'm lying down in the grass in a nice place with beautiful hazel trees just above i'm lying down and what i wanted to point out is that if we don't care about our stress level so at this point, it's useless to be interested in anything in terms of health because I think about it particularly, I have someone who consulted me recently in relation to colitis problems, extremely difficult digestion, constipation and I already had a good idea of the link between stress and problems a
little bit of everything that affects the stomach and digestive sphere but i did some research, and i was very surprised to see the action of Adrenaline Hormone, Epinephrine and Cortisol at the level of Digestion, they are complete inhibitors of Digestion, you have to know it they inhibit a lot of functions of the body, because their role is to provide energy very quickly they are in response to a stress, a secretion of hormones in order to allow a quick release of energy and therefore a reflex action, a muscular reflex action of the body so when we are subjected to a
repeated stress there is a continuous secretion of these hormones and as a result, a lot of metabolic digestive functions are completely cut off so if we have digestive problems when we are stressed, it is not the digestive problems that we should be interested in it is the notion of stress that we should question so starting from that, it is easy, we should say that we should relax but to say to someone that he should relax when he is in a stressful situation, it is extremely inoperative it is useless,
it is like saying to someone extremely tense, relax, it is useless but I wanted to think with you a little bit about what it is that stresses exactly and there I will take a little bit of the words of someone who you will hear me mention quite often who for me is a true modern master of thought called Eckhart Tolle Eckhart Tolle, you will find his name a little bit everywhere he wrote a book called the power of the present moment and he is someone whose teachings are of an extraordinary richness for me, who has accompanied me these last years.
And so Eckhart Tolle says, with the rightness of the stress, that it is somehow to refuse to be in the present moment. Because what is the situation of stress? This situation of stress is...
The present is there, we are living, our body is present at the place where we are at that moment, but while our body is present, our mind would like to be elsewhere, it would like to do something else it would like it to be already accomplished, it thinks about things that will already have happened what still needs to be done during the day, the requests of such and such the mind disconnects completely from the Real, the body is there,
it is there all alone abandoned by the mind, the mind is gone all alone in a small bike in the head and so the stress is often the result of a total disconnection with reality and the present moment because even if you are forced to do whatever it is, there is the body that is there at the moment and in the body it is only quietude the body does not hear the messages that come from the outside the body doesn't know, the mind can try to force it, so it's true that when the mind enters a situation of alertness and stress, there is this secretion of adrenaline,
epinephrine and cortisol that can lead to an increase in the heart rate in the body, but still the body remains relatively calm, it is present. and so really see that, see that stress is often also an attitude in which we do not connect we refuse to stay in the present, we run away in a future hypothetical in things that we are asked to do, expected to do and that finally one of the access doors to non-stress, to relaxation is above all to be able to reconnect, reconnect the present moment reconnect the
movement of his arms, of his legs, of his hands breathe, breathe in, connect to his breath realize that we will not die in 10 seconds if the task we thought we had to do immediately we don't do it A friend, a very good friend, made me notice yesterday something that I had never noticed I'm talking about the present moment, we can also talk about real, reality and she came back on the etymology of the term reality reality, we find the root real,
the real, you know this currency that was quite known by the Incas and so on the real is also the kingdom, it refers to the notion of the kingdom the kingdom is the reality, it is not the kingdom of the heavens, it is the human kingdom that is to say the completeness, the total completeness is in the reality, in the present moment, absolutely now and so getting a little bit out of the stress situation is reconnecting first of all with reality for me it's really what is required in the management of stress,
it is what is required in the healing of the state of stress and I know that it is not always easy, that the constraints of our current life are often totally artificial for the body it is not equipped with the necessary tools to manage all this amount of requests that we give it Reconnecting to reality is really giving yourself the chance to get out of this infernal gear and to return to the Kingdom, the Kingdom of the present moment, absolutely present. And above all, to relativize things,
to realize that if things are not done in the hour, in the minute, there is no period. I'm going to tell you a little anecdote, I like to tell little anecdotes, but a few years ago I had launched a huge garden with friends, I had launched this garden in the spring, it was a superb garden that had a form of mandala drawing, made with vines, an incredible thing, we were quite proud of our work.
Except that we had no water, we had to irrigate only with the watering can And the summer came and I found myself alone to have to manage this garden And as I still have a strong connection to plants, I could not imagine letting the plants fall So I spent my whole days watering, mowing, I was going crazy and I was in an extraordinary stress situation a stress situation that made me increase, increase, increase until the day or the evening I was in my truck I was coming home and I had a pseudo-accident because I think it's not an accident I think a part
of me deliberately looked for it but let's say that I put the truck at low speed relatively, but in the wall of a property I was transported to the hospital I think it was also my body that took over and that projected the truck in a certain way against this wall so as to stop this madness in which I was and I can tell you that when I found myself at the hospital I had very little injury but at the same time, the fact of being re-entered in the body, that the body has suffered a little physically, it brought me back, exactly, the pain brought me back to the present.
And it's amazing how what seemed essential to me, necessary and essential for this evening, for the next day, for every day that came, all these tasks that I had to accomplish, Well, they didn't seem that important to me, quite devoid of urgency.
And the next morning, when I got out of the hospital, I got on my bike, I went for a walk. Then I left for a few days on my bike, cycling to the campsite.
I went for a walk in the mountains, I went to meditate quietly. And what's funny is that when I came back three weeks later, I found the garden again. I was expecting to find an ignoble fruit.
And in fact, despite the fact that I didn't water it, the garden was in relatively good condition. and then my friends came back from vacation, so in the end we all came back to the garden and finally, to re-anchor in the reality, that's what saved me that's what saved me from a state of stress in which i was locked up and you see, it's by the body, by the body that i came back to reality the present moment is by the body, it's in the body that we are going to look
for it once again, the healing of this kind of little bike that we can have in the head they go through the body, in our cells, in our breathing breathing helps a lot, these are all meditation techniques if there are people among you who know them, they can describe them a little bit, talk a little more about it I know meditation and yoga very well which are very good techniques to re-enter the body, in reality, in the kingdom So I really wanted to point out how much stress is a
major element in a degradation of the health, of the global health, of the well-being of the individual, how much we are subjected to extraordinary states of stress currently, and to what extent the exit door is also the entrance door to the present moment, to the reality, to the reality of the body.
Stop making sure that the mind controls everything, that the mind controls everything, the body is there, the body is there and it revives anyway, whether we want it or not. So we might as well go to the front of the body and reconnect a little bit the demands of the mind with the needs of the body.
It was a short video that I wanted to do quickly, while I was lying quietly under the hazelnuts. I wanted to share with you my state of relaxation. I can assure you that right now, I don't see any urgency to move from this position. I wish you all a very good day.
See you soon with the short videos on how to live raw. Thank you for your encouragement, thank you for subscribing if you want to be kept up to date And see you very very soon, goodbye
